Esca: nf This grapevine disease is excessively complex because it involves several fungi that disrupt the nourishment of the vine. It manifests itself on vines generally between 10 and 15 years old with large wounds. No grape variety seems to be immune. Esca causes wasting which leads to the death of the feet. It has 2 aspects:
- alteration of the foliage leading to drying out and grapes which grow poorly;
- or worse, a sudden death ...
