Goblet: nm A goblet is a round drinking vessel, without a handle and without a foot, narrower and higher than a cup.
Formerly, more often in metal, it can be gold, silver, pewter, stainless steel, or tin.
"Goblet" used to designate all the officers in charge of the king's mouth.
Nowadays, they are made of plastic, cardboard or recycled paper, provided (or not) with a lid and often pierced to put a straw (biodegradable).
