Courbu: The Courbu grape is a vigorous, fine and warm white grape variety, used in Béarn (where it is called ruffiac) and in the Spanish Basque Country in the Chacoli de Guetaria. It has small clusters with small yellow green grains. It is part of the Béarn, Irouleguy, Jurançon and Pacherenc du Vic Bilh appellations. Courbu blanc is often vinified with Petit and Gros Manseng.
