Manzanilla: Manzanilla from Sanlúcar de Barrameda is a Spanish wine from the Andalusian vineyard. It is controlled by a Spanish equivalent of the AOC, the Denominación de Origen Manzanilla-Sanlúcar de Barrameda.
This is a very pale, slightly spicy wine, light on the palate, dry, and low in acidity. Its alcohol content, previously ranging between 15,5 and 17%, has been set at 15%. This makes it the lightest of the Jerez wines. It is mainly drunk as an aperitif.
