Rectified alcohol: Rectified alcohol is a distillate or aqueous solution containing 70 to 96% ethanol, thanks to the process known as “rectification” or fractional distillation. This is the maximum concentration that can be obtained by distillation of crude alcohol, because ethanol mixed with water gives an azeotropic fluid.
Uses: It is used for the production of liqueurs or vodka, but also for housekeeping, cleaning, disinfection.
