Roussanne: The Roussanne grape is a white grape. We recognize this grape variety from Montélimar, by its small to medium clusters and rather small grains, golden white, almost reddish when ripe and not very juicy. It is a not very widespread variety (less than 1000 ha), of medium vigor, considered difficult due in particular to its sensitivity to downy mildew, its irregular and unproductive yields and finally its later maturity (in mid -September).
