Doburoku (Asian rice wine): Doburoku is a regional variety of rice wine consumed in the Far East.
Other names of doburuku: dakushu (濁酒), Japanese pronunciation of Chinese zhuojiu (浊酒 / 濁酒, zhuójiǔ, "cloudy wine"), also written nigorizake (濁 り 酒, abbreviated in nigori) in Japanese and also called in Chinese zhuolao (浊醪 / 濁 醪, zhuóláo) or laoli '(醪 醴, láolǐ).
The oldest trace seems to be in China, the choujiu consumed under the Tang dynasty in Chang'an (today Xi'an) ...
