Gaperon: Gaperon is a French cheese from the Limagne plain in Basse-Auvergne. It is made on the farms of Puy-de-Dôme with raw cow's milk and gape (gapà or gaspà means buttermilk or whey in Auvergne).
An industrial form of gaperon employs milk mixed together and pasteurized.
