Salsiz: Salsiz is a small, dry sausage from the canton of Graubünden, Switzerland. Rectangular in shape and six to fifteen centimeters long, Salsiz consists of lean beef and pork and fatty bacon, medium chopped.
It is traditionally served cut into thick slices and accompanied by pickles and small vinegar onions. The salsiz is similar to the gendarme but does not go in pairs.
