Ear of Judas: The ears of Judas (class of basidiomycetes, Auriculariaceae family) also called auriculars are edible fungi, very frequent hosts of elderberry (See Elder). These mushrooms do not have a well-defined cap or stalk. They are in the shape of an irregular, lobed, veined ear.
