Myrtaceae: The Myrtaceae family (or Myrtaceae) is a family of dicotyledonous plants that includes about three thousand species of trees and shrubs, divided into 48 to 134 genera. They are often producers of aromatic oils. They are found in temperate, sub-tropical to tropical areas, but they grow mainly in Australia and tropical America.
