Amylopectin: nf Amylopectin is a branched ose polymer (polysaccharide) found in plants. It is made up of α-D-glucopyranose and, together with amylose, is the constituent of starch. Glucose is linearly linked by alpha 1 → 4 bonds. Branches appear with an alpha 1 → 6 bond every 24-30 monosaccharides.
