Vongerichten (Jean-Georges): Jean-Georges Vongerichten is a French chef. He was born in Alsace on March 16, 1957 and lives in New York. He runs several restaurants in Las Vegas, London, Paris and Shanghai, as well as New York. He is the author of five cookbooks, including two with Mark Bittman, an American author and food columnist.
