Leblanc (Richard): Richard Leblanc is a French cook and writer, born in Paris in 1510 and died in 1580.
He was the butler of the Duke of Guise (*). Protected by Marguerite, daughter of François Ier (**), he dedicated his translation of De subtilitate by Gerolamo Cardano to her.
