Mille Colonnes (Café des): The café des Mille Colonnes was an establishment in the Palais-Royal, in Paris (1st arrondissement), opened in 1807 on the first floor of the Montpensier gallery. Its name came from twenty columns which were reflected endlessly in large mirrors placed on the walls.
