Omakase: "Omakase" (in Japanese お 任 せ) is a Japanese expression which means: "I am in your hands", from the verb makaseru (任 せ る).
This expression is used in sushi restaurants to ask the chef to surprise his guests by making his own selection of dishes and ingredients.
By analogy, in the computer world, the “omakase” menu designates a practice of offering software packaged by default with a set of third-party tools chosen by the publisher. Let ...
