Cellar master: In viticulture, the cellar is the place where winemaking takes place. This operation is carried out under the responsibility of the cellar master, the person responsible for the development and aging of the wine. By extension, the cellar master is the person in charge of managing a cellar. In France, access to this profession is subject to obtaining a BTSA (Brevet de Technicien Supérieur Agricole) Viticulture oenology or a DNO (national diploma in oenology).
